Short answer: Higgsfield AI has a free account, but it comes with 0 credits, so it isn’t really usable for video. Paid plans start at $9 a month (Basic, 120 credits) and $10 a month (Lite, 250 credits, monthly billing only). Pro costs $29 a month or $20 a month billed yearly for 600 credits, and Max costs $79 a month or $50 a month billed yearly for 1,800 credits. For most people, Lite is the best place to start: it costs $1 more than Basic but gives you about twice the credits and every model.

Higgsfield’s pricing page is busy. It mixes credits, “unlimited” models, free generations, special offers and annual discounts, and the plan names have changed this year. Some pricing guides that rank on Google still list plans and prices that no longer exist.

So I went through Higgsfield’s live pricing page, its credit table and its help center, and turned it all into plain numbers: what each plan costs, how many videos the credits actually buy, what “unlimited” really means, and which plan makes sense for you. If you’re still deciding whether to pay for AI video at all, start with our guide to free image to video AI tools, which compares the free plans of Kling, PixVerse, Google Vids and seven others.

Higgsfield AI pricing at a glance

These are the individual plans listed on higgsfield.ai/pricing on October 10, 2026. Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT and local taxes, which are added at checkout.

Plan Monthly billing Annual billing Credits per month Model access
Free $0 $0 0 Premium models blocked, no top-ups
Basic $9/mo $9/mo 120 Selected models only
Lite (special offer) $10/mo Not available 250 All models and features
Pro $29/mo $20/mo ($240/yr) 600 All models + 7-day unlimited Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2
Max $79/mo $50/mo ($600/yr) 1,800 All models + 7-day unlimited Kling 3.0, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro

Pro and Max also come in bigger credit sizes. Pro can be bought with 900 credits ($43 a month, or $26 a month billed yearly), and Max can be raised to 3,600 or 5,400 credits. Higgsfield also sells separate Business plans for teams.

Is Higgsfield AI free?

Not in any useful way. You can create a free account, but Higgsfield’s own plan comparison lists the Free plan with 0 subscription credits. Every video model costs credits, so a free account can’t make videos with Kling, Veo, Sora or Seedance. Higgsfield also says the free plan “can’t top up” and “gates premium models”, so you can’t buy a small credit pack without subscribing.

What a free account is good for: looking around the interface, browsing presets and seeing what other people make. If you want free AI video, other tools still give you free credits. Kling has a free Basic plan, PixVerse gives 30 credits every day, and Google Vids gives 6 free clips a month on a personal Google account. Our free image to video AI comparison covers each of them.

Each plan explained

Basic: $9 a month

Basic is Higgsfield’s cheapest subscription. It costs $9 a month, and the pricing page says there’s no difference between monthly and annual billing.

  • Credits: 120 a month. Higgsfield estimates that’s about 60 Nano Banana Pro images or about 7 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos.
  • Models: “selected models and features” only. For Seedance, you get 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini, not the full Seedance 2.5.
  • Parallel generations: up to 2 videos and 2 images at the same time.
  • Missing: the feature comparison doesn’t include Start and End Frame control, Higgsfield Speak, the UGC builder or priority access to new models on Basic.
  • Extras: 10 free AI Influencer generations and 10 free Ads Studio generations.

My take: Basic is the plan to skip. At 7.5 cents per credit, it’s the most expensive plan per credit, and Lite gives you more than double the credits and every model for $1 more. Higgsfield’s own comparison says Lite is “1.9x more cost-effective than Basic”.

Lite: $10 a month (monthly billing only)

Lite is labelled a “special offer” plan, and it’s the best value on the page for anyone who doesn’t want to pay for a year up front.

  • Credits: 250 a month. Higgsfield estimates that’s about 125 Nano Banana Pro images or about 17 Seedance 2.5 videos.
  • Models: all models and features, including Seedance 2.5, Canvas, MCP and Supercomputer.
  • Unlimited: unlimited Higgsfield Soul 2.0 and Soul Cinema image generations.
  • Parallel generations: up to 6 videos and 8 images at the same time.
  • Top-ups: extra credits from $0.08 each.
  • Extras: 30 free AI Influencer generations and 10 free Ads Studio generations.

Watch out: Lite is only available with monthly billing, and because it’s marked as a special offer, Higgsfield could change or remove it. If it’s still listed when you sign up, it’s the cheapest way to try every model.

Pro: $29 a month, or $20 a month billed yearly

Pro is the plan Higgsfield’s own plan finder suggests for regular creators. Annual billing saves 31%, which works out to $108 a year.

  • Credits: 600 a month (about 300 Nano Banana Pro images or about 40 Seedance 2.5 videos). A 900-credit version costs $43 a month, or $26 a month billed yearly.
  • Unlimited: 7-day unlimited Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2 (up to 2K), plus what Higgsfield calls “7 unlimited and free generation models”.
  • Parallel generations: unlimited paid parallel generations.
  • Extras: 30 free AI Influencer generations, 10 free Ads Studio generations and 3 free Genjutsu generations at 720p.

Max: $79 a month, or $50 a month billed yearly

Max is marked “best value”. Annual billing saves 37%, or $348 a year.

  • Credits: 1,800 a month (about 900 Nano Banana Pro images or about 120 Seedance 2.5 videos), with 3,600 and 5,400 credit options.
  • Unlimited: everything in Pro, plus 7-day unlimited Nano Banana Pro at 2K.
  • Cost per credit: 2.8 cents on annual billing, the lowest of any plan.

All paid plans include commercial use and priority, “fast-track” generation according to Higgsfield’s feature comparison.

How Higgsfield credits work

Credits are what you actually pay for. Every model charges a set number of credits per generation, based on the model, the video length and the resolution. Here’s what Higgsfield’s FAQ says about them:

  • Credits don’t roll over. Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each credit cycle.
  • Monthly plans refresh credits on the same date each month. Annual plans refresh every 30 days from the start date.
  • Need more? You can upgrade, or buy credit packs on top of your plan. Purchased credits are added instantly.

The “use it or lose it” rule matters. If you only make a few videos a month, a bigger plan wastes money. Buy for the volume you’ll really use, then top up in a busy month.

Here’s what one credit costs on each plan:

Plan Price Credits Cost per credit
Basic $9/mo 120 7.5¢
Lite $10/mo 250 4.0¢
Pro (monthly) $29/mo 600 4.8¢
Pro (annual) $20/mo 600 3.3¢
Max (monthly) $79/mo 1,800 4.4¢
Max (annual) $50/mo 1,800 2.8¢

Notice that Lite at $10 a month is cheaper per credit than Pro or Max on monthly billing. Pro and Max only beat it on price per credit when you pay for a year. What you get for the extra money is the “unlimited” windows and higher limits, not cheaper credits.

How much does a Higgsfield video cost?

This is the question most pricing guides skip. I took the credit costs from Higgsfield’s own model table and worked out what each clip costs at Lite’s 4 cents per credit, and how many clips each plan’s monthly credits cover. These figures are approximate, because Higgsfield lists most costs with a “~”.

Model and clip Credits Cost on Lite Clips on Lite (250) Clips on Pro (600) Clips on Max (1,800)
Kling 3.0, 720p, 5 sec ~6 $0.24 41 100 300
Kling 3.0, 1080p, 5 sec ~7 $0.28 35 85 257
Kling 3.0, 4K, 5 sec ~30 $1.20 8 20 60
Hailuo 2.3, 768p, 6 sec ~6 $0.24 41 100 300
Wan 2.6, 720p, 5 sec ~7 $0.28 35 85 257
Sora 2, 720p, 4 sec ~10 $0.40 25 60 180
Seedance 2.0 Fast, 720p, 5 sec ~12 $0.48 20 50 150
Veo 3.1 Fast, 4 sec ~16 $0.64 15 37 112
Veo 3.1, 4 sec ~40 $1.60 6 15 45
Seedance 2.0, 1080p, 5 sec ~45 $1.80 5 13 40
Sora 2 Pro, 1080p, 4 sec ~50 $2.00 5 12 36
Nano Banana Pro (image) 2 $0.08 125 300 900

Two things stand out. First, model choice matters far more than plan choice: one 1080p Sora 2 Pro clip costs about the same as eight Kling 3.0 clips. Second, AI video rarely works on the first try. If you usually need three or four attempts to get a usable shot, divide the clip counts above by three or four to see how many finished videos you’ll really get.

Tip: draft your idea with a cheap model such as Kling 3.0 at 720p, then use Veo 3.1 or Sora 2 Pro only for the final version of a shot.

What “unlimited” really means on Higgsfield

“Unlimited” is the most misunderstood part of Higgsfield’s pricing. Here’s how it works, from the pricing page and its FAQ:

  • It’s per model, not for everything. Unlimited lets you generate without spending credits only on the specific models, resolutions and quality tiers your plan lists. Everything else still costs credits.
  • “7-day unlimited” means a 7-day window. On Pro and Max, models such as Kling 3.0 show “7-day unlimited”. For other models, Higgsfield says the number of unlimited days is shown on each model’s icon on the pricing page.
  • It can be slower. Unlimited jobs run in a standard queue, and Higgsfield says speed and concurrency “may temporarily vary” at peak times. You can switch to Credit Mode to skip the queue, which spends credits.
  • Website only. Unlimited models and free generations work only on higgsfield.ai, not through MCP, CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer.
  • Personal use only. Automation tools, account sharing and reselling are banned, and unusual activity can get unlimited access paused.

Higgsfield also runs “365 Unlimited” promotions, which give a year of unlimited use on the models listed in a plan’s card. That access only lasts while your subscription stays active: if you cancel or downgrade to a plan without it, it stops when your current plan ends.

So treat unlimited as a bonus, not the main reason to buy. Your monthly credits are what you can count on.

Higgsfield promo codes, discounts and free trials

I didn’t find an official Higgsfield promo code on its website or help center, and I’d be careful with coupon sites that list codes and percentages. The real discounts are applied automatically on the pricing page:

  • Annual billing: 31% off Pro ($20 instead of $29 a month) and 37% off Max ($50 instead of $79 a month). The page advertises up to “50% off” on annual plans.
  • Lite special offer: all models for $10 a month on monthly billing.
  • Rotating promotions: when I checked, the page was running a 50% off deal on 7-day unlimited Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2 through an “Ultra” plan offer. These offers change often.

Is there a Higgsfield free trial? The pricing page doesn’t offer a standard free trial for the website plans. Higgsfield sometimes runs short new-user promotions, but they’re not permanent. The closest thing to a safety net is the refund policy below: if you don’t use any credits, you can get a refund on a first purchase within 7 days.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancelling: every plan renews automatically. You can cancel anytime in your account settings, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you downgrade, the change also applies at the end of your current period. Upgrades apply straight away, and the credit difference is added to your account.

Refunds are strict. According to Higgsfield’s help center, you can only get a refund when all three of these are true:

  1. You ask within 7 days of the purchase (or longer, if your local law requires it).
  2. You haven’t used any credits from that purchase. Free generations and unlimited-model generations don’t count as credit use.
  3. It’s your first purchase of that subscription. Renewals aren’t refundable.

A service fee of up to 6% is deducted, and once a refund is approved, your account moves to the free tier straight away. Credit packs follow the same 7-day, no-credits-used rule. In the EU and UK, consumers also have a 14-day withdrawal right, which ends early once you start using the digital content.

In practice, if you spend even one credit, assume the payment is final. Set a reminder before your renewal date if you’re only testing.

Which Higgsfield plan should you buy?

  • Just trying AI video: Lite ($10 a month). All models, 250 credits, no yearly commitment. Cancel if it isn’t for you.
  • Making content every week: Pro annual ($20 a month). 600 credits plus 7-day unlimited Kling 3.0, which is enough for regular social media posting.
  • Heavy use, client work or ads: Max annual ($50 a month). The lowest cost per credit and the most unlimited models.
  • Unsure whether you’ll keep using it: stay on monthly billing. Renewals aren’t refundable, so an annual plan you stop using is money lost.
  • Skip: Basic. Lite costs $1 more and gives more than double the credits and every model.

Is Higgsfield AI worth it?

Higgsfield’s main selling point is that it puts most of today’s leading video models in one subscription: Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Sora 2, Seedance, Wan and MiniMax Hailuo, plus image models such as Nano Banana Pro and its own Soul models. It also adds tools you won’t find in the model makers’ own apps, such as camera-motion presets, an AI Influencer builder, Ads Studio and lip-sync.

Pros

  • One plan instead of separate Kling, Google, OpenAI and MiniMax subscriptions.
  • Low entry price: every model from $10 a month on Lite.
  • Credit costs are published per model, so you can work out the price of a clip before you make it.
  • Commercial use is included on paid plans.
  • Unlimited windows on popular models (Pro and Max) can stretch your credits a long way.

Cons

  • No usable free plan: 0 credits on a free account.
  • Credits expire every cycle, with no rollover.
  • “Unlimited” is limited to certain models and time windows, runs in a slower queue at peak times, and only works on the website.
  • Strict refunds: none once you’ve spent a credit, and none on renewals.
  • Plans, names and offers change often, which makes the pricing page hard to follow.

Verdict: Higgsfield is worth it if you want to use several top video models and would otherwise pay for two or more separate tools. It isn’t worth it if you only need one model, such as Kling, because buying that model directly can be cheaper. Start on Lite, see how fast you use credits, and only move to an annual plan once you know your monthly volume.

Cheaper Higgsfield alternatives

If you only need one model, going direct can cost less:

  • Kling AI: free Basic plan, and the Standard plan is $6.99 for the first month, then $8.80 a month, for 660 credits.
  • PixVerse: 30 free credits every day, with paid plans from $8 a month billed yearly.
  • Google Vids: 6 free AI clips a month on a personal Google account.

These prices come from each tool’s pricing page when we checked them in October 2026. For the full comparison, including Vidu, Hailuo, Runway and the open-source Wan model, read our guide to the best free image to video AI tools.

The bottom line

Higgsfield AI pricing comes down to four paid plans: Basic at $9, Lite at $10, Pro at $29 ($20 yearly) and Max at $79 ($50 yearly). The free account has no credits, credits don’t roll over, and “unlimited” only covers certain models for set periods. For most people, the $10 Lite plan is the smartest first step, because it unlocks every model without a yearly commitment.
