CB Profit Club Review 2026: Real Pricing, Commission Tiers and an Honest Verdict

Most CB Profit Club reviews are written from the sales page. You can spot them quickly: they quote prices that no longer exist, describe a “Partner” tier that has been removed, and never mention that the whole thing can be joined for free.

This review is written from inside the members area. I went through the upgrade page, the training, the setup instructions, the promo tools and the live leaderboard in October 2026, and took screenshots of each one. Where something is locked or unclear, I say so.

The short version: the free Team tier is worth taking. VIP ($495 a year or $67 a month) only makes sense if you can send traffic of your own. And the leaderboard tells a more honest story about earnings than any testimonial does. If you’re still weighing your options, I’ve compared it with nine other programs in the best affiliate programs for beginners.

What CB Profit Club actually is

CB Profit Club (the ClickBank Profit Club) is a partnership program run by John Thornhill, a long-time ClickBank vendor. You join, connect your ClickBank account, and get your own copy of his ClickBank Profit Club funnel tagged with your affiliate ID.

Anyone who joins through your link becomes your referred member. Leads land in your autoresponder, a pre-written email campaign follows up with them, and when they buy upgrades or other products inside the club, you’re paid a commission through ClickBank at your membership level.

So in plain terms: you’re promoting the club itself. That’s worth understanding before you join, because it shapes everything. Your income depends on getting people into your funnel and on some of them upgrading later.

The two tiers and what they cost (2026)

The program used to have three tiers. As of October 2026 the upgrade page shows only two:

The annual plan is advertised as saving up to $309, which checks out: twelve monthly payments of $67 come to $804, against $495 for the year.

If you read an older review that recommends skipping a $295 “Partner” tier, that tier is no longer offered. It’s now a simple free-or-VIP decision.

Full commission breakdown

Your membership level sets your commission rate on everything your referred members buy inside the club:

Two things stand out. First, 100% on Upsell 1 at VIP: you keep the whole sale, which is rare for an affiliate. Second, the free tier still pays a real 50% on upgrade sales. Free members aren’t locked out of earning; they earn at a lower rate.

VIP also lists “commissions of up to $7,500 on super ticket sales”. That refers to the program’s highest-priced offer (the Coaching Profit System, covered below). Treat it as a ceiling, not an expectation.

What’s inside the members area

The training

Core training is split into six topics: Affiliate Marketing, Product Creation, List Building, Email Marketing, Using AI and ClickBank Training, plus a separate blogging workshop. Each topic has three levels. The Intermediate module is open to everyone, Advanced is for paid members, and the Workshop is VIP only.

For example, the Affiliate Marketing page has “The Affiliate Blueprint” (free, with a PDF workbook), “The Traffic Accelerator” (advanced, locked on Team) and “The Affiliate Bonus Blueprint” workshop (VIP).

The promo tools

Every member gets ready-made marketing material: six emails (plus short versions), six blog post templates, six social media posts and a pack of banners. The instructions are sensible. They tell you to add your own story and not copy the templates word for word.

Take that advice seriously. Thousands of members get the same templates, so a blog post copied straight from the swipe file is duplicate content that Google is unlikely to rank.

Setup: what you need before it can earn

This is the part most reviews skip, and it matters. Your funnel collects leads into your own autoresponder, and the follow-up email campaign that promotes the upgrades runs from there. If you join and never connect an autoresponder, your leads won’t get that follow-up from you.

The setup page walks you through it in ten short videos:

1. Create a ClickBank account (this is how you get paid).
2. Create an AWeber account. It’s recommended but not required.
3. Create a list, adjust its settings and import the ready-made email campaign using a sharing code.
4. Create a signup form, submit your details and test the signup.
5. VIP members then submit their details for the recruitment rotator.

If you use a different autoresponder, there’s a separate video showing how to connect it through a Zapier webhook. Once your ClickBank and autoresponder accounts exist, the program says the full setup takes no more than ten minutes.

Once you’re set up, your profile page shows your personal CB Profit Club link, your member level and the members you’ve referred.

How member recruitment works

Member recruitment is the main reason people pay for VIP, so here’s exactly how the upgrade page describes it.

While your VIP membership is active, John Thornhill recruits new members through ClickBank and his own list (he quotes 150,000+ subscribers), and assigns them to VIP members on a rotational basis. When those members later buy upgrades, you’re paid at your commission level. The program’s own example: a member assigned to you takes a $495 recurring upgrade, and as a VIP you receive 75% of it.

The setup page adds that VIP members get exposure from “over 10,000 clicks per week” through done-for-you traffic, the program’s own promotions and the ClickBank marketplace.

There’s also a Profit Sharing program that pays an extra 25% second-tier share on qualifying commissions earned by members you personally recruited. It’s only available to eligible members who sign a Profit Sharing Agreement. It isn’t active on a free Team account.

What members actually earn: the leaderboard

The members dashboard has a live “Hall of Fame” ranking members by gross sales. It’s the most useful reality check in the whole program, so here’s what it showed when I checked:

Number 100 on the all-time list was at $393.24. Total gross sales generated through the club stood at $384,182.17, and the page notes that over 95% of the leaderboard are VIP members.

How to read this honestly:

• These are gross sales, not commissions. What a member actually keeps depends on the product and their level.
• The all-time top spot is far ahead of everyone else. A top-ten finish over 30 days was around $800 in sales.
• The public sales page says over 16,914 members have joined. Set against $384,182 in total tracked sales, that’s roughly $23 per member on average. The two figures were published at different times, so treat it as a rough guide, but it tells you most members earn little or nothing.

None of that makes it a bad program. It makes it a normal one: the members who earn are the ones who already have, or build, a traffic source.

Is VIP worth $495? The maths

Here’s what one referred member taking the $495 annual VIP upgrade pays you at each level:

On annual billing, VIP covers its cost with two upgrade sales a year (2 × $371.25 = $742.50). That’s a low bar if you have traffic. If you don’t, it rests entirely on the rotation sending you buyers, and the leaderboard shows that isn’t guaranteed.

The simplest way to decide: stay on Team until you’ve sent real traffic to your funnel and seen people join. You still earn 50% on upgrade sales while you’re there. Upgrade once the numbers say the higher rates would have paid for themselves.

Other upgrades and paid services

The “My Products” page lists the other things members can buy. You’ll be offered these, so it’s worth knowing they exist:

• Coaching Profit System: a done-for-you coaching funnel with a licence to sell Online Success Coaching at 100% commission, plus 12 months of done-for-you traffic and affiliate recruitment. This is the “super ticket” offer.
• The ClickBank Profit Blueprint: a 212-page action guide with a 30-day plan.
• Traffic and content tools: the Social Traffic Generator, the Fast Track Traffic System, the Authenticity Engine (a custom GPT for writing in your own voice) and the CBPC Action Coach.
• Utilities: ClickBank Bonus Automator, a 90-email Autoresponder Upgrade Sequence (days 31–120) and a discounted AI app suite.

There are also paid setup services if you’d rather not do the technical part yourself: $67 for the funnel setup, $47 for DKIM and DMARC email authentication, or $97 for both. They require active ClickBank and AWeber accounts.

None of these are required. The free tier works without them.

The guarantee

Paid upgrades come with a 14-day “no questions asked” money-back guarantee, running from the date you upgrade. That’s shorter than the 30 or 60 days many ClickBank products offer.

Fourteen days is enough to go through the VIP training and judge the material. It isn’t enough to find out whether the recruitment rotation delivers members to you, so judge what you can see inside that window, not the results.
