Short answer: yes. CB Profit Club has a free-forever tier called Team. It includes your own done-for-you funnel, an automated follow-up email campaign, live coaching and the intermediate training, with no card required. What it doesn’t include is rotator traffic and member recruitment. Those are VIP only ($495 a year or $67 a month).
A lot of people assume CB Profit Club is a paid course, because most reviews of it are written from the sales page. It isn’t. The entry level is free, and it isn’t a trial or a seven-day window. You get a working funnel with your name on it for nothing.
I’m on the free Team tier myself. This guide shows exactly what you get at $0, what stays locked, what you need to set up before the free funnel can earn, and when paying actually makes sense. Every claim comes with a screenshot from the members area, taken in October 2026. If you’re still choosing where to start, my guide to the best affiliate programs for beginners compares it with nine others.

What the free tier includes
The Team plan is more generous than “free” usually is in this niche:
| Included at $0 | What it means |
|---|---|
| Done-for-you membership site | Your own copy of the ClickBank Profit Club funnel, tagged with your ClickBank affiliate ID |
| Automated follow-up email promotions | A ready-made email campaign you import into your autoresponder, so new leads are followed up without you writing anything |
| Live coaching | Access to the live coaching sessions |
| Intermediate training | The first level of all six core training topics: affiliate marketing, product creation, list building, email marketing, using AI and ClickBank training |
| Promo tools | Six email swipes, six blog post templates, six social posts and a banner pack |
The funnel and the email campaign are the part worth pausing on. Building those two yourself is what stops most beginners before their first commission.
What’s locked at Team level
Here’s the honest trade, because it’s what people searching this question actually want to know:
| Locked on Team | Unlocks with |
|---|---|
| Additional tools | VIP |
| Live training archive | VIP |
| Advanced training and coaching workshops | VIP |
| Priority support and early access to new offers | VIP |
| Ongoing done-for-you member recruitment | VIP |
| Option to unlock 5x more traffic | VIP |
| Commissions of up to $7,500 on “super ticket” sales | VIP |
The two highlighted rows matter most. Member recruitment, where John Thornhill assigns new members to you on a rotation, is VIP only. My own profile page says it plainly: “Rotator traffic is not included with the Team membership.”
So on the free plan you have a funnel, but every visitor who sees it has to come from you. Know that before you join.

Older reviews mention a middle “Partner” tier at $295 a year. That tier has been removed. There are now just two levels: Team (free) and VIP.
Commission rates on the free plan
You earn commissions on the free tier, just at lower rates than VIP:
| Commission on | Team (free) | VIP ($495/yr) |
|---|---|---|
| Upsell 1 | 50% | 100% |
| Upsell 2 | 40% | 75% |
| Upgrade sales | 50% | 75% |
| Additional products & tools | 30% | 50% |
| Premium events, challenges & coaching | 5% | 25% |
| Third-party offers | 5% | 10% |
| DFY services | 5% | 20% |
In practice, if someone joins through your free funnel and later takes the $495 annual VIP upgrade, you’d earn $247.50 at the Team rate. If they choose the $67 monthly plan, you’d earn $33.50 each month they stay. You’re giving up the higher rates and the rotation, not the ability to earn.
What happens when you join
You create a free account and land on a dashboard with three steps: create (or connect) a ClickBank account, activate your personal funnel, then enter the members area for the training and traffic instructions.

Your profile page then shows your personal CB Profit Club link, your member level and a list of the members you’ve referred.

There’s no card, no trial countdown and no automatic switch to a paid plan. The upgrade page sits inside the members area if and when you want it.
The one thing you must set up
This catches out a lot of free members. Leads from your funnel are added to your own autoresponder, and the follow-up campaign that promotes the upgrades runs from there. With no autoresponder connected, your leads don’t get those emails from you.
- AWeber is recommended and has step-by-step setup videos, including a sharing code that imports the whole email campaign.
- Any other autoresponder can be connected through a Zapier webhook, and there’s a separate video for that.
- Once your ClickBank and autoresponder accounts exist, the program says setup takes no more than ten minutes.

There’s an optional $67 setup service if you’d rather have the team do it, but you don’t need it. The videos cover everything.
Is there a catch?
Not a hidden one, but there’s an obvious one worth naming. The free tier exists to get you inside so that, eventually, you’ll buy something. Once you’re in, you’ll see the VIP upgrade, the Coaching Profit System, the ClickBank Profit Blueprint, several traffic and AI tools, and paid setup services.
That’s the business model, and it’s fine if you use it the right way. Join free, set up the funnel, send traffic, and only pay for something when your own results justify it. Don’t upgrade just because a page tells you to.
The other honest caveat: a free funnel with no visitors earns nothing. The members-area leaderboard makes this clear. Tenth place over the last 30 days was $816.28 in gross sales, and over 95% of the people on the leaderboard are VIP members who also get rotator traffic. On the free tier, everything depends on traffic you bring yourself.
When upgrading makes sense
Ask yourself one question: are you already sending traffic to your funnel?
If you are, the VIP maths is simple. It costs $495 a year, and you earn 75% on upgrade sales, so a referred member taking the $495 annual upgrade pays you $371.25. Two of those a year cover the cost, and the rotation becomes a bonus on top.
If you’re not sending traffic yet, stay free. Nothing expires, you still earn 50% on upgrade sales, and paying won’t create an audience you don’t have.
